We are proud that our Spring planting took advantage of our recent rains to get more large native trees in the ground. The new trees will be providing their new homes with shade to mitigate the oncoming heat of our Ojai summer.
For those that don't already know a mature shade tree can lower the temperature under its branches by 20 degrees! These trees will need minimal watering until that get established ( our website Ojaitrees.org tells you how) and can provide their beautiful benefits for this and following generations.
Yeah trees, Yeah to our volunteers, and yeah for the rains!
